It was published in 1989, but there is quite a lot of additional material in this new edition. The 80s material has stood up to the test of time remarkably well and seems to have been extraordinarily prescient.

I read it the other day and found it inspiring – it’s impossible to disagree with the analysis really. But as an average Joe I find myself wondering what to do next. Can I, practically speaking, disentangle myself from mortgages and loans and credit cards and all the other stuff? Where do I live then? How do I travel, buy food, clothes? After all, England is an expensive place. I don’t see how you can get this onto the national/international agenda without either a big political organisation, or a ‘state’ of your own where it’s possible to live the dream. I’m thinking of becoming a muslim myself although I find my local mosque a bit off-putting and nothing like as ‘English’ as yours. Any advice?
Is there an error?. I cant play the video? Would love to see it.
Sincerely,
Abdussalam
I just checked it, and it seems to be working. You have to click on the image.
Let us know if it doesn’t work.
Salams,

I’ve ordered my copy. I understand it came out in the 80s; has it been updated in response to recent events?

Stuart, every journey begins with one footstep. Where do you live?
I live in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, near Derby. A long way from Norwich!
You’ll be surprised at how close Burton is to Norwich…
